Indian Tamil language action movie Maaman hit the theatres on May 16, 2025. The movie stars Soori and Aishwarya Lekshmi in the lead roles, while Rajkiran, Swasika and Bala Saravanan essay pivotal roles. Maaman received mixed reviews from critics upon its release. The movie's OTT rights have been bagged by Zee5. The satellite rights of Maaman have been bagged by Zee TV. According to the latest report by One India Tamil, Maaman will be made available for streaming on Zee5 in June second week.

About the film: Maaman revolves around the bond between a maternal uncle and his young nephew and how the overbearing and attached relationship causes issues between the man and his wife. The film has cinematography handled by Dinesh Purushothaman, editing done by Ganesh Siva and music composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab. The soundtrack and background is composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab in his Tamil debut. Think Music acquired the audio rights.
According to Sacnilk, Maaman performed well on its first 19 days at the box office and earned an estimated ₹ 36.51 Cr India net.
