Madharaasi OTT Release Confirmed: Sivakarthikeyan and Rukmini Vasanth starrer Tamil movie released in theatres on September 5. The film opened at the box office with a lot of expectations, but it could not perform accordingly. Now, in less than a month of its theatrical release, Madharaasi is set to create the magic all over again, but on OTT. If you haven’t watched the film yet, then here is the way to enjoy it from the comfort corner of your home.

When And Where To Watch Madharaasi Online?

Madharaasi is set to make its digital debut on Prime Video on October 1 in multiple languages, including Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu. Sivakarthikeyan, in an interesting video, made the OTT announcement. The platform wrote on Instagram, “Brace yourself for a mad ride with yours truly Madharaasi. #MadharaasiOnPrime, Oct 1.”

What Is The Concept Of Madharaasi?

According to the official premise, the movie is about a man with a tragic past who becomes involved in an operation to stop the mass distribution of weapons. Madharaasi features Sivakarthikeyan as Raghu Ram, Rukmini Vasanth as Malathy, Vidyut Jammwal as Virat, Biju Menon as Premnath, Vikranth as Sandeep, Shabeer Kallarakkal as Chirag, Sanjay as Raghu's brother, Aadukalam Naren as Inspector Manikandan and Thalaivasal Vijay as Dr. Kannan. The movie has been written and directed by AR Murugadoss, backed by N. Srilakshmi Prasad under the production banner of Sri Lakshmi Movies. The cinematography has been done by Sudeep Elamon. It has a total runtime of 168 minutes.

What Is The Budget Of Madharaasi?

As per reports, the movie has been made on a budget of around Rs 150 to 200 crore. The film failed to even cross the budget mark.

What Is The Box Office Collection Of Madharaasi?

According to a report by Sacnilk, the Tamil movie, which hit the screens on September 5, earned Rs 61.86 crore in India after 18 days of release. The worldwide collection of Madharaasi stands at Rs 97.69 crore. The overseas collection of the Tamil movie is Rs 25 crore.
