Manamey On OTT: The Telugu romantic comedy movie Manamey, directed by Sriram Adittya, made its theatrical debut on June 7, 2024. The movie received mixed responses upon its release, but the performances of actors Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty impressed audiences. The film is already available on Amazon Prime Video in its Telugu version. Now, the makers are set to release the Tamil-dubbed version on OTT. The Tamil-dubbed version of the romantic comedy movie will be made accessible for viewers on the OTT platform Aha from May 16, 2025. The streaming platform made the announcement of Manamey's world digital premiere on X handle. About the Manamey Movie Story
The movie takes us into the world of a carefree and happy-go-lucky young man, Vikram, who is doing his masters in London. His life takes an unexpected turn when he receives a call from India about a close friend, Anurag, who dies in a fire accident with his wife. After this news, he arrives in India, but the less he knows, he has a responsibility waiting for him. He got the responsibility of his friend's two-year-old child, Khushi, on him now. Initially, he faces challenges as parenting is new for him, but eventually understands the meaning of taking care of someone. Khushi leaves an unexpected impact on his life. Vikran's life gets a new twist after Subhadra, another guardian, enters his life. Together, the young couple navigate the challenges of raising Khushi. Over time, Vikram develops feelings for Subhadra, and he tries to win her heart. The story unfolds the themes like self-discovery, concept of parenting, romance and drama.
