Metro, Anurag Basu's eagerly anticipated romance drama Metro… In Dino finally debuted in theaters on July 4. The picture, which is being marketed as a spiritual sequel, investigates the highs and lows of contemporary relationships in a fast-paced metropolitan environment—a concept that struck a deep chord with viewers of the first movie.
Metro In Dino, which stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Ali Fazal, has received good reviews for its moving narrative, heartfelt soundtrack, and subtle acting. Remarkably, Konkona Sen Sharma is the only actor from the original movie to return.
Metro In Dino OTT Release UPDATE
Metro In Dino has clinched its OTT partner, Netflix, as it continues its theatrical run. Although there isn't yet an official streaming date, movies usually go live 45 to 60 days following their theatrical debut, so this slice-of-life drama might be available on the platform by late August or early September.

On its second day, the movie has seen a spike in attendance. The romantic musical is up against BIG movies at the box office. With a solid Rs 9 crore opening, Jurassic World Rebirth is still drawing crowds. Films like Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par has already made Rs 137 crore in two weeks, Brad Pitt's F1 made Rs 3.50 crore and Kajol's Maa made Rs 1 crore on their day eighth.
