Nishaanchi OTT Release: After delivering gritty masterpieces like Gangs of Wasseypur, Ugly and many others, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is back with another crime drama, Nishaanchi, featuring a fresh storyline and debutant in the lead role. The movie marks the acting debut of Balasaheb Thackeray’s grandson, Aaishvary Thackeray, who takes on a double role alongside Vedika Pinto, Monika Panwar, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and Kumud Mishra. The story revolves around brothers Babloo and Dabloo, whose opposing beliefs drive the narrative,set in early 2000s Uttar Pradesh, northern India. While Nishaanchi is set to make its theatrical release on September 19, it will eventually land on a streaming platform. Find out where you can watch it after its theatrical run.
Where To Watch Nishaanchi Online?
The makers of Nishaanchi recently unveiled the trailer, packed with action sequences, romance and family dynamics across multiple storylines. Newcomer Aaishvary Thackeray brought the story and the authenticity with performances along with the other cast on screen. Nishaanchi is a story that Anurag Kashyap has carried for years. As he said, 'it’s the most cinematic film with a classic story at its centre involving emotion, betrayal, action'. Everything that he grew up loving in Hindi films. Besides the trailer, what caught everyone's attention were the posters, as they indicated on the streaming platform. After its theatrical run, Nishaanchi will stream on the OTT giant Amazon Prime Video. However, the makers haven't officially announced the movie's OTT release date yet.
Produced by Ajay Rai and Ranjan Singh under the banner of Jar Pictures, in association with Flip Films, Nishaanchi is directed by Anurag Kashyap and written by Prasoon Mishra, Ranjan Chandel, and Anurag Kashyap.

Anurag Kashyap not only directed but also co-wrote Nishaanchi's screenplay with Prasoon Mishra and Ranjan Chandel. The crime drama is backed by Ajay Rai and Ranjan Singh under the banner of Jar Pictures, in association with Flip Films. The music score is backed by Zee Music Co with composers including Anurag Saikia, Manan Bhardwaj and Dhruv Ghanekar. Arijit Singh and Madhubanti Bagchi have lent their vocals for tracks like Filam Dekho, Dear Country and Birwa.
Nishaanchi will face major competition at the box office from Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi starrer Jolly LLB 3, which is releasing on the same day, September 19.
