Peddi OTT Release: Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Telugu action thriller movie is slated to release in theatres on March 27, 2026. It is one of the biggest movies in recent times. Since the announcement of Peddi, the film has been making buzz on social media for its big starcast. As per reports, the film has already sealed its digital rights for a whopping amount. As per a report by OTTPlay, Netflix has bought the streaming rights of Peddi. The digital rights of the movie have been sold for a whopping amount of Rs 105 crore.
According to reports, a new schedule of the movie will go on floors by the end of June. Janhvi is yet to shoot for the movie. Shivaraj Kumar will have a special role in the movie.
About Peddi
The plot is set against the backdrop of the 1980s in Andhra Pradesh, when a spirited villager unites his community. Through sports, he tries to defend their pride against a powerful rival. Peddi stars Ram Charan, Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Jagapati Babu and D/ivyendu Sharma in pivotal roles. It has been written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The movie has been produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru and R. Rathnavelu has done the cinematography of the film. Peddi is slated to have pan India release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages.
While sharing the teaser of the Telugu movie, Ram Charan wrote on Instagram “Our entire team is super kicked with your response for the #PeddiFirstShot. Thank you. Hindi glimpse out now! Link in BIO #PEDDI IN CINEMAS ON 27th MARCH, 2026.”
Ram Charan embraces earthy and fierce in the first look of the movie. He can be seen donning a nose ring, messy hair and a long beard. He smokes a cigar and holds a cricket bat in a village stadium by floodlights in the background.
