What Is Single Papa About?
After being called a 'manchild' by his wife, Gaurav Gehlot, a 30-year-old man, played by Kunal Kemmu, decides to become a single dad and raise a child on his own. He finds an abandoned baby in a carton in his car and interprets it as a sign from the universe. He brings him home and names him Amul. His decision to be a single father shocks his family. During the adoption process, Gaurav faces a strict adoption officer, played by Neha Dhupia, who traps him in endless paperwork and judges every action. Single Papa shows the challenges single men face when trying to adopt a child.
Shashank Khaitan serve as an executive producer and directs the series along with Hitesh Kewalya and Neeraj Udhwani, who co-directed the series. Created and co-produced by Ishita Moitra and Neeraj Udhwani, Single Papa stars Manoj Pahwa, Ayesha Raza, Prajakta Koli, Neha Dhupia, Suhail Nayyar, Dayanand Shetty, Aisha Ahmed, Dhruv Rathee, and Isha Talwar in key roles.
