As per the official premise, the Telugu movie is about a man born under an unlucky star. He struggles with constant setbacks and romantic failures. His perfectionist approach to love complicates matters until a chance encounter brings him face to face with his ideal match.

Sundarakanda features Nara Rohith as Siddharth, Sridevi Vijaykumar as Vaishnavi, Virti Vaghani as Eira, Naresh, Vasuki Anand as Siddharth's sister, Satya, Ajay, VTV Ganesh, Abhinav Gomatam, Viswant Duddumpudi, Rupa Lakshmi, Sunaina, Raghu Babu, Vasu Inturi and Raghu Karumanchi. The film has been written and directed by Venkatesh Nimmalapudi. The movie has been backed by Santhosh Chinnapolla, Gowtham Reddy and Rakesh Mahankalli.

According to several reports, Sundarakanda earned Rs 5.78 crore in India after 15 days of release. The worldwide collection stands at Rs 1.28 crore. The movie could not cross the budget mark. After its box office failure, the movie is expected to do wonders on OTT.
