The film, which also starred Ananya Panday, received mixed reviews for its story as people compared it with Karan Johar’s SOTY part one, which featured Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra. Shroff played Munna, a gifted street dancer who idolises Michael Jackson.
