Viraatapalem OTT Release: Telugu cop drama web series, Viraatapalem: PC Meena Reporting is set to make its OTT debut, generating a lot of buzz among fans. The 8-episode web series stars YouTuber-turned-actress Abhignya Vuthaluru in the lead role. The Telugu web series features a unique storyline that revolves around the unusual encounters in the titular village of Viraatapalem and the women who reside there. With engaging visuals and strong performance, the series is poised to captivate thriller enthusiasts.
Abhignya Vuthaluru took to her Instagram and shared the poster of the much-anticipated Telugu web series with the caption, “Girls of Viratapalem village, if you are thinking of getting married, take a step back! Let's see what this village is like; come on. #ViraatapalemOnZee5 PREMIERES 27th JUNE. From the director and makers of the blockbuster #RecceOnZee5.” The Telugu cop drama is slated to release on Zee5 on June 27, 2025.

About the Viraatapalem Plot
Set against the backdrop of a village named Viraatapalem, the Telugu web series starts with the unprecedented appointment of a female cop named Meena, played by Abhignya, as the new head of the local police station. Her arrival sparks surprise and shock among the villagers, as she begins to unravel the village's dark secrets. Meena’s bold investigation unveils the haunting secret and folklore of the village, specifically her latest case—the mysterious and shocking deaths of brides on their wedding day under strange circumstances.
About Viraatapalem Cast And Crew
Viraatapalem also features Charan Lakkaraju, Lavanya Sahukara, Ramaraju, Satish, and Gowtam Raju, among others, alongside Abhigyna Vuthaluru. Written by Divya Thejaswi Pera, the Telugu web series is helmed by Krishna Poluru. Rohit Kumar has composed the musical score for Viraatapalem.
