Pakistani musician Haniya Aslam passed away on August 11. The news of her demise was confirmed by her cousin Zeb Bangash, with whom she used to create music and made some soulful music for Coke Studio Pakistan. Zeb paid tribute to Haniya Aslam on Instagram and posted her pictures as well. Fans are also in shock after learning about the sudden demise of Haniya and expressed their grief.
Paying tribute to Haniya Aslam, Zeb wrote, "Hanini."

Pakistani Radio Jockey Sophiya Anjam commented on the post, "My dearest Zeb, I am so, so sorry. Haniya was a brilliant artist, a warm soul & loved/respected by many. She has left memories for us all to cherish. I cannot even imagine the pain of her loved ones in this terribly difficult time, can only make dua that may Allah make it easy. Sending you love & deepest condolences. Her music & spirit shall always be celebrated."
One fan wrote, "I’m so so sorry to hear this! I’m deeply thankful for the music you both made together. Sending you all the strength."
Indian actor Swanand Kirkire also expressed his shock and commented, "WTF … what happened? OMG."
Haniya Aslam first came to the limelight after coming together with her cousin Zebunnisa Bangash in 2007 and forming a duo called Zeb and Haniya. The two create some hit music for Coke Studio Pakistan.
