Pankaj Tripathi’s Father Pandit Banaras Dies; Actor Leaves For His Village

Renowned Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi’s father, Pandit Banaras Tiwari passed away in his hometown of Bihar. The actor’s father was 99 and due to age-illness issues succumbed to death. Pandit Banaras Tiwari breathed his last in his village, Belsand. The actor shared a close bond with his father and the incident has left him in profound sorrow.

Pankaj Tripathi’s parents lived in Bihar, while the actor lives in Mumbai with his wife and daughter. Pankaj Tripathi is currently basking in the success of his recent released film ‘OMG 2’ alongside Akshay Kumar. The film is directed by Amit Rai and also features Yami Gautam in a pivotal role.

‘OMG 2’ hit theatres on August 11, and on Day 10, the film managed to mint Rs 12.70 crore in India. The total box office collection of the film domestically stands at Rs 114.31 crore. Meanwhile, the total occupancy of the film was around 58.05 percent on August 20.
