While Pavi Caretaker did not have resonated with younger audiences, it seems to have received well by families, contributing to respectable box office earnings. Following its debut on April 26, 'Pavi Caretaker' experienced a decline in collections on its first Monday. However, on Tuesday, the film, helmed by director Vineeth Kumar, achieved an estimated net earnings of Rs 55 lakh in India alone, as reported by Sacnilk. On Wednesday, May 01, 2024, the film earned Rs 50 lacs and maintained a Malayalam occupancy rate of 27.71% overall.
The morning shows saw a turnout of 13.16%, followed by 27.57% during the afternoon screenings. Evening shows sustained a rate of 26.37%, while the night shows experienced a significantly higher turnout at 43.75%. This significant amount adds to the film's overall box office triumph, with total net earnings reaching approximately Rs 5 crore within its initial six days of release.
