Payal Malik has recently been targeted by severe online harassment, exacerbated by a fake video involving her husband-YouTuber Armaan Malik, and his second wife, Kritika Malik. This has deeply troubled Payal, prompting her to take a strong stance against the defamation and abuse directed at her and her family. In response, Payal has announced on Instagram that she has filed defamation notices against those threatening her.
Payal revealed that legal notices will be sent out to the offenders shortly. "Guys, I’ve faced trolling before, and I understand it's part of growing in the public eye. But recently, the situation has escalated to threats. For those involved in defaming me or my family, I'm taking action and filing a defamation case against you. You will face the legal consequences for your actions. I've included your names, and you’ll receive official notices soon."

This comes after JioCinema's recent clarification regarding the alleged sex video involving Armaan Malik and Kritika Malik from Bigg Boss OTT 3. The OTT platform emphasised their adherence to rigorous programming standards to ensure content quality. They confirmed that the video in question was not part of their broadcast and was doctored to include inappropriate material. According to IndiaToday, "JioCinema adheres to strict programming standards and guidelines to ensure the quality and appropriateness of any content that streams on our platform. Bigg Boss OTT which streams on JioCinema, does not have any such content. The video clip in circulation is doctored to include obscenity and is fake."
"We are committed to protecting the integrity of JioCinema and the trust our viewers place in us. The creation and circulation of this fake clip is a matter of very serious concern. Our teams are working towards identifying the origins of this clip and will initiate action against those responsible for creating and distributing such defamatory content against 'Bigg Boss OTT' and JioCinema," it added. Armaan Malik has garnered significant attention on Bigg Boss OTT 3. He came to the show with his two wives -- Payal and Kritika.

Payal, who was eliminated a few weeks ago, faced significant trolling, which led her to consider discussing a divorce with Armaan once he left the show. However, following intervention from her family, Payal has reconsidered her decision and is now choosing to wait for Armaan and Kritika to exit the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house before taking any further steps.
