Phule Box Office Collection Day 5: Pratik Gandhi and Patralekhaa starrer biographical movie based on the lives of social reformers such as Jyotirao Phule and Savitribai Phule, which released on April 25. The film has been maintaining a slow yet steady pace at the ticket windows. On its first Tuesday, Phule have seen a jump in numbers in India and is simultaneously eyeing Rs 2 crore globally. If it maintains the same pace, the movie will soon reach the feat in the coming days. However, it might not have a long theatrical run, seeing the present box office collection.

According to Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 0.35 crore on Day 5. The net collection of Phule stands at Rs 1.6 crore and has a worldwide collection of Rs 1.88 crore.

About Phule 

The biographical movie is based on the lives of Jyotirao Phule and Savitribai Phule, the social reformers who broke several prolonged patriarchal norms. From talking about casteism to educate his wife, Savitribai Phule, Jyotirao worked hard to change the mindset of society, which is shown in the film. The movie also depicted how they tried to end the caste system in society, which became a point of debate after the trailer of the film was released. Some also called it ‘anti-brahmin’, and the boycott trend started buzzing all over social media.
