Mohan Govind's directorial 'Pizza 3: The Mummy' will soon release on the OTT platform after its theatrical run. This is the third instalment in the 'Pizza' film franchise and it has also been receiving positive responses from the audience and the critics. In 'Pizza 3: The Mummy', the protagonist tries to solve a series of murders that take place exactly where he delivers food.

'Pizza 3: The Mummy' will release on Prime Video on August 25.

After the success of 'Pizza 3: The Mummy', producer CV Kumar has announced its fourth instalment. According to an official press note, he said, "The success of three parts of Pizza continues to inspire us, thanks to the love of fans and their vow to support quality content. So to fulfil their expectations, the fourth instalment of Pizza will start soon. An announcement on the director, cast and technical team will be made soon."

'Pizza 3: The Mummy' stars Ashwin Kakumanu and Pavithrah Marimuthu in the lead roles.

The 'Pizza' film franchise started in 2012 and its first instalment starred Vijay Sethupathi, Remya Nambeesan, Aadukalam Naren, Jayakumar, Pooja Ramachandran and Bobby Simha in the lead roles. It revolves around Michael, who is a pizza delivery boy and lives with Anu, an aspiring horror fiction writer. Things take a dark turn when Michael goes to a mysterious bungalow while delivering pizza.

The second instalment 'Pizza 2: The Villa' starred Ashok Selvan, Sanchita Shetty, Nassar and Vegan Rajesh in the lead roles. The movie revolves around Jebin and his girlfriend Aarthi, who find several paintings in an ancient mansion. Things take a mysterious turn when Jebin sees that the paintings are highlighting his future and incidents from the painting start becoming true.
