Ponman Box Office Collection Day 6: Basil Joseph and Sajin Gopu starrer Malayalam comedy movie has been struggling at the ticket windows. The film released in theatres on January 30, 2025 and received mixed reviews from the audience and the critics. On its 6th day, the film saw a major dip in numbers at the weekend and earned only in lakhs. Seeing the current scenario, it seems difficult for the movie to even cross Rs 10 crore. As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 0.37 crore on day 6. The net collection of Ponman stands at Rs 4.78 crore. The film had 15.99 per cent Malayalam occupancy in theatres. It had 13.22 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 13.29 per cent in the afternoon shows, 13.62 per cent in the evening shows and 23.83 per cent occupancy in the night shows in theatres.

About Ponman
The movie delves into the life of Gold dealer named Ajesh, who lends precious sovereigns for a village wedding. Soon, he finds himself in danger as the bride’s criminal husband makes a plan to kill him and keep the gold. The movie stars Basil Joseph, Sajin Gopu, Lijo Mol Jose, Anand Manmadhan, Deepak Parambol, Kiran Peethambaran and Jaya Kurup in key roles. It has been directed by Jotish Shankar and written by GR Indugopan and Justin Mathew.
