Ponman Box Office Collection Day 7: Basil Joseph starrer Malayalam comedy movie released in theatres on January 30. It received mixed responses from the audience and the critics. The movie has been struggling at the ticket windows by only earning in lakhs. On its first Wednesday, the movie had the lowest earnings till now. Seeing the current box office scenario, it might not earn the Rs 10 crore mark anytime soon. Well, a slight improvement may change the overall box office performance. 

Ponman Box Office Collection Day 7 

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 0.39 crore on day 7. The net collection of Ponman stands at Rs 5.23 crore. The film had an overall 16.06 per cent Malayalam occupancy in theatres on Wednesday. It had 13.60 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 12.26 per cent in the afternoon shows, 14.40 per cent in the evening shows and 23.96 per cent in the night shows.

Ponman Budget 

The movie was made on a budget of Rs 3 crore. The film has successfully crosses the budget mark. 

About Ponman  

The movie is about a gold dealer, who lends some gold items for a village wedding. Soon, he finds that the bride’s criminal husband wants to kill him and keep the gold. The comedy drama features Basil Joseph, Sajin Gopu, Lijo Mol Jose, Anand Manmadhan, Deepak Parambol, Kiran Peethambaran and Jaya Kurup in pivotal roles. It has been directed by Jotish Shankar and written by GR Indugopan and Justin Mathew. The film has been backed by Vinayaka Ajith.
