South Indian actor Jayam Ravi calls himself a 'die hard' fan of co-star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at a promotional event of 'Ponniyen Selvan 2.' Taking to Twitter on Monday, Jayam Ravi shared a video of their Hyderabad event for the promotions of the film.

In the video, Jayam Ravi can be seen de-boarding an aircraft and exiting the airport, where he later attended an event of the film and was seen dressed in an ethnic outfit. Jayam Ravi opted for a black outfit as he attended another event and addressed the people of Hyderabad.

In the video, he said, "Hello Hyderabad, what kind of energy is this? When it comes to the Telugu audience, the energy never changes." After some time he seemingly speaks with a woman which the actor added. "I'm half-Telugu, half-Tamil ma'am but 100 percent Aishwarya Rai fan."

Later he also invited Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on stage, who was dressed in a red and golden outfit, where the actor escorted Aishwarya to her seat. Jayam Ravi shared the clip and wrote, "Thanks for the love Hyderabad. Fanboy moment." "He also added the hashtags--PS2, Chola tour, and Cholas are back."

During the promotions of 'Ponniyen Selvan 2' in Bangalore, Jayam Ravi got emotional and was soon consoled by co-stars Vikram, Karthi, and Trisha Krishnan, as they hugged him. Jayam Ravi was seen saying, "I am sorry I am getting emotional. When I am happy, I get emotional."

Sharing the video he added the caption, "After Thanioruvan, he felt so emotional for #PS2 and shed happy tears for the love he is receiving for Arunmozhi Varman Was wholesome to see this video."

Talking about 'Ponniyen Selvan 2', Jayam Ravi will be seen in the role of Prince Arunmozhi Varman while Vikram will be seen as his brother Aditha Karikalan. The film is directed by Mani Ratnam, whereas the film also features Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshi, and Sobhitha Dhulipala. The film will be released on April 28.
