Ponniyin Selvan 2: Makers Share BTS Clip Featuring Karthi Transforming Into Vanthiyathevan; First Single To release On THIS Date

Ponniyin Selvan 2 ia sll set to hit the theatres on April 28, 2023. The makers are currently on a promotional spree and recently they shared a short BTS clip featuring the making of the second installment of Ponniyin Selvan 2. The clip sees how Karthi changed into Vanthiyathevan.

In the video, Karthi could be seen speaking, "When I wear that costume...when I get to the location and complete just one scene, it gives such a grounding for you."A few still images of the actor taken during the test photoshoot are then displayed after it. It is guaranteed to make you goosebumps to see the costume design team and art direction team collaborating to perfect his look and props.

Sharing the clip, Lyca Productions wrote on Twitter, "Charming. Cheeky. Courageous. See how @Karthi_Offl transforms into everyone’s beloved #Vanthiyathevan! 1st Single from 20th March at 6PM!" Along with the BTS clip, the makers also revealed that the movie's first single will be unveiled on March 20, that is, on Monday.

The song will be released in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi, among other languages. The song poster features Karthi as Vanthiayathevan, who is blinded and kneeling, along with Trisha as princess Kundavai, dressed in white with a sword.

Apart from Karthi and Trisha, the movie also features Vikram, Jayam Ravi, and Aishwarya Rai in lead roles.
