Prabhas Teaming Up With Mrunal Thakur-Dulquer Salmaan's Sita Ramam Director Hanu Raghavapudi For Next?

Prabhas is set to team up with director Hanu Raghavapudi for an upcoming project. The announcement of this collaboration was made by the 'Sita Ramam' filmmaker during a college event in Warangal, Telangana. He further revealed that Vishal Chandrashekhar has already completed composing three songs for the film. Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, this ambitious project promises to captivate audiences. Further details regarding his project with Hanu Raghavapudi are expected to be officially revealed soon.

What Hanu Raghavapudi said?

Director Hanu, speaking at an event held at NIT Warangal, unveiled his upcoming project with Prabhas. He revealed, "My next film with Prabhas is a period action movie with an alternative narrative of history." Currently, Prabhas is busy shooting for the high-budget film 'Kalki 2898 AD' alongside director Nag Ashwin.

Hanu Raghavapudi embarked on his directorial journey in 2012 with 'Andala Rakshasi'. His latest release, 'Sita Ramam', featuring Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur, and Rashmika Mandanna, proved to be a blockbuster hit. Following the immense success of 'Sita Ramam', he pitched a story to Prabhas.

Prabhas' work front

On the professional front, Prabhas has 'Kalki 2898 AD' lined up as his next release, set for a grand premiere in the summer of 2024. It is a science-fiction dystopian film set in the year 2898 AD, based on Hindu scriptures. Directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by C. Aswani Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies, the film features Prabhas in the lead role alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, and others in prominent roles.

The music is scored by Santhosh Narayanan, with cinematography by Djordje Stojiljkovic and production design by Nitin Zihani Choudhary. It is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on May 9, 2024. Additionally, he is also working on 'Spirit' alongside director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

According to reports, the actor is scheduled to commence shooting in December 2024, as announced by Animal director.
