Prabhas is one of the most adored and popular stars in the South Film Industry and also enjoys strong fandom across the nation after his iconic role as Mahendra-Amarendra Baahubali captured worldwide attention. Coming from the books of SS Rajamouli, his popular character eventually became an iconic emotion and is still graved in every fan of Prabhas. Years after the successful release of the film, Prabhas’ ‘Baahubali’ character has been turned into a wax statue at Mysore’s museum in Karnataka.

However, this ‘Baahubali’ statue of Prabhas was installed without the permission of the makers of the film and now is the talk of the town. The producer of ‘Baahubali’ Shobu Yarlagadda shared the information on X (formerly known as Twitter) and claimed that the statue was installed without the permission of the makers and is not officially licensed.

Sharing his disappointment on X, he wrote, “This not an officially licensed work and was done without our permission or knowledge. We will be taking immediate steps to get this removed.” ‘Baahubali’ is a two-part period drama, helmed by SS Rajamouli. The fictional story is written by Vijayendra Prasad and also stars Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishnan, and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles.

‘Baahubali’ is produced by Shobu Yarlgadda and Prasad Devineni. The film was also released in Japan and ran over a year , whereas the two films collectively raked around Rs 2,500 Crore worldwide, and was a blockbuster at the box office.

Meanwhile, Prabhas will next be seen in ‘Salaar’ alongside Shruti Haasan. The film has been extensively delayed and will now be released in December, witnessing a clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dunki.’ The film is directed by Prashanth Neel. Prabhas also has ‘Project K’ and Sandeep Vanga Reddy’s upcoming venture ‘Spirit’ in the pipeline.
