About Malayalam Movie Premalu - Cast and Plot

Girish AD directed Premalu, which Fahadh Faasil, Dileesh Pothan, and Shyam Pushkaran produced. The film stars Naslen K. Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju in lead roles, alongside Sangeeth Prathap, Akhila Bhargavan, Shyam Mohan, Althaf Salim, Meenakshi Raveendran, George Wincent, Mathew Thomas, and many others in key roles.

The film centers around a carefree youngster, Sachin Santhosh (Naslen K. Gafoor), a graduate from an engineering college, who plans to move to the UK. However, his plans take an unexpected turn when his visa gets rejected due to a shortage of funds. One day, he runs into his childhood friend Amal Davis, who convinces him to take a GATE course in Hyderabad. Left with no choice, Sachin decides to go to Hyderabad and enroll in the course. There, he falls in love with Reenu Roy, portrayed by Mamitha Baiju, an IT company employee. Despite coming from distinct backgrounds, Sachin pursues Reenu, but faces several challenges. One day, he confesses his feelings to Reenu, but she rejects him, leaving him heartbroken. To escape the situation, Sachin moves to Chennai and takes up odd jobs to make ends meet. The story unfolds as Reenu realizes her true feelings for Sachin in his absence. The makers successfully attract the audience’s attention with this story of love, rejection, and self-discovery.
