Citadel Season 2: Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden-starrer web series 'Citadel' is heading towards its finale and fans are already waiting for its next season. Now, Amazon Prime Video has officially announced its second season of 'Citadel' as the web series has been receiving immense love all around the world.
The producers of Citadel, Amazon, and MGM Studios confirmed the news about 'Citadel Season 2'. "Citadel is a truly global phenomenon. We always aimed to create a new franchise rooted in original IP that would grow Prime Video’s international audience. Its massive worldwide debut audience is a testament to Joe and Anthony Russo’s remarkable vision, the incredible talents of Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Lesley Manville, and Stanley Tucci, and the tireless work of the creative teams, cast, and crew," the team said in an official statement.

Citadel: Star Cast
Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas star as Citadel Agents Mason Kane and Nadia Singh respectively. The show also stars Stanley Tucci, Lesley Manville, Osy Ikhile, Ashleigh Cummings and Roland Møller.
'Citadel' is created by David Weil with the Russo brothers acting as executive producers. Apart from the American version, 'Citadel' will have spin-offs set in the Italian Alps, India, Spain, and Mexico.

Citadel: Plot
The official synopsis of 'Citadel' reads, "Eight years ago, Citadel, an independent global spy agency, was destroyed by a new syndicate, Manticore. With their memories wiped, elite agents Mason Kane (Richard Madden) and Nadia Sinh (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) barely escaped with their lives. Eight years later, Mason’s former colleague, Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci), asks for his help to prevent Manticore from establishing a new world order."
On the work front, Priyanka will reportedly star in another Prime Video series 'Assume Nothing'. It has been confirmed by Priyanka herself that she will be the executive producer of the project. Assume Nothing will reportedly be a limited series based on Tanya Selvaratnam’s book of the same name. The book will be adapted and executive produced by Mimi Won Techentin.
