Priyanka Chopra is back in action for the second season of Citadel, the popular spy thriller series co-starring Richard Madden. The actress recently shared some behind-the-scenes pictures featuring her daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas and the extensive crew that makes Citadel come to life. Chopra expressed her gratitude to her team on Instagram, calling them her "magical team" and hinting at an exciting season ahead.
In the series of photos posted on November 13, Priyanka can be seen enjoying a meal with the Citadel Season 2 crew. One touching moment captured in the images shows Priyanka sharing a heartwarming moment with Malti, bringing her daughter into the spotlight with the hardworking crew. The actress noted that the production team plays a vital role in shaping her experience on set, acknowledging that they "literally can make or break the experience for an actor."
In her post, Priyanka shared, "In my job, nothing is possible without the people you are surrounded by at work, who support you in every project...This is my magical team of Citadel S2." She further explained that working on a production as vast as Citadel wouldn’t be possible without the support of the 400+ crew members. She ended her note with a rallying message, saying, "Let’s finish filming this season with a BANG!"

Citadel, created by Josh Appelbaum, Bryan Oh and David Weil, is produced by Joe and Anthony Russo and first aired on April 28, 2023. The show follows Citadel agents Nadia Sinh, played by Priyanka Chopra and Mason Kane, played by Richard Madden, in a high-stakes world of espionage and the first season also featured prominent roles by Stanley Tucci and Lesley Manville.
