Diljit's global dominance in the music industry knows no bounds, with his versatile songs captivating audiences everywhere. The actor-singer is making his debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, bringing a musical twist to his appearance on the popular chat show. Ahead of the show, Diljit and comedian-host Jimmy Fallon exchanged gloves in a hilarious video posted on The Tonight Show's Instagram page. The clip was filmed backstage at The Tonight Show's studio in the US.
Diljit Dosanjh is seen wearing traditional Punjabi attire, complete with a matching turban. He carried a black glove, which he exchanged with Jimmy Fallon's custom-made glove featuring the show's logo. In another video, Diljit is seen preparing with his team before the big show. Sharing the video, they wrote, "Backstage glove swap with @diljitdosanjh! #DiljitOnFallon #FallonTonight."

On June 17, Diljit shared a Reel from the sets of the chat show. The camera entered a room marked 'The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,' where Diljit was seen deep in discussion with his team. Addressing the camera, he cheerfully exclaimed, "Hanji, Punjabi aa gaye oye," a phrase reminiscent of his memorable performance at Coachella last year. The G.O.A.T. singer looks stylish in a white sweatshirt paired with black trousers, complemented by a red turban. In the video, Diljit folds his hands and warmly greets.

On the Raj Shamani podcast, Diljit talked about the plans for his appearance. When the Punjabi singer and actor was questioned about his appearance on The Tonight Show and how he felt about it, Diljit reacted, "Thik hai, dekhte hain, abhi jaa ke pata chalega. Pehli feeling ka toh nai pata. Abhi jayenge, dekhenge kya hota hai (Let's see, we'll know after going there. I don't know about the first feeling. We'll go and see what happens)."
