Viewers have yet to witness a true reconciliation between the former husband and wife, Baek Hyun-woo and Hong Hae-in. However, the series appears to be leading in that direction. After what some may consider 'filler' episodes in 9 and 10, the next chapters in Queen of Tears are expected to be significant. 

In Episode 10, Hae-in revealed the circumstances behind Eun-sung's coercion and her terminal illness, which led her to decline the role of Queens CEO. While Hyun-woo remains frustrated with his ex-wife over her rejection of such a prestigious role, there is still a visible bond between them. Viewers can anticipate intense drama as Baek Hyun-woo and Yoon Eun-sung vie for Hong Hae-in's affections. However, after the events of episode 10, where Hae-in publicly reveals her illness and Eun-sung's coercive tactics, it becomes evident who will ultimately win her heart.

Hae-in's focus on the future, despite her illness, suggests she may know something the audience does not. This has led to speculation that the couple may reconcile, only for Hae-in to tragically pass away.
