In the recent episode, Hong Hae In, played by Kim Ji Won, undergoes surgery and loses all her memories, including those of her husband, Baek Hyun Woo, portrayed by Kim Soo Hyun. Seizing the opportunity, Yoo Eun Sung's character manipulates Hae In into believing that he is her true love, adding a new layer of complexity to the storyline.

The unexpected twist has left fans outraged, with many expressing their anger and frustration towards Yoo Eun Sung's character on social media. Fans flooded his social media handle with a mix of angry and complimentary comments, with some acknowledging his acting skills while others expressing their dislike for his character's actions.

Despite the backlash, 'Queen of Tears' continues to perform exceptionally well, maintaining its position at the top of the charts on Netflix. The recent episode achieved a viewership rating of 21.625 per cent, making it the second most-watched tvN Kdrama.
