Raid 2 Box Office Collection Day 7: Ajay Devgn's new film Raid 2 has managed to hold its ground at the domestic box office, although there was a drop in the collection on Wednesday. The film, which was released on May 1, had managed to pass the Rs 90 crores mark in its first week.
According to film trade portal Sacnilk, Raid 2 earned Rs 19.25 crore on its opening day, followed by Rs 12 crore on Friday, Rs 18 crore on Saturday, and Rs 22 crore on Sunday. The film's collections dropped on Monday and Tuesday, with Rs 7.5 crore and Rs 7 crore respectively. On Wednesday, the film earned approximately Rs 4.75 crore, taking its total India box office collection to Rs 90.50 crore.

At the worldwide box office, Raid 2 has breached the Rs 100 crore mark to settle at Rs 118 crore. The film's India gross box office earnings stand at Rs 102 crore.

Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the movie sees Ajay Devgn reprising his role as Amay Patnaik, an upright IRS officer. The sequel features Riteish Deshmukh as the antagonist and Vaani Kapoor as Ajay Devgn's wife. The film's plot revolves around Amay Patnaik's 75th raid, where he uncovers over ₹4,200 crore in black money and takes on a corrupt politician's empire. The OTT platform Netflix has acquired the rights to stream Raid 2, which is expected to release on the platform in late June or early July 2025, following the customary 60-day post-theatrical window.
Raid 2 has been a steady performer at the box office, with Ajay Devgn's performance being praised by audiences and critics alike. The film's success is a testament to the popularity of the Raid franchise, which has already earned ₹103 crore in its lifetime. With its current trajectory, Raid 2 is likely to surpass the lifetime collection of the first film and emerge as a commercial success.
