Raid 2 Release Date Out:  Ajay Devgn and Vaani Kapoor starrer's upcoming crime thriller gets its release date. One of the most anticipated movies of Devgn was earlier set to release in theatres on November 15, 2024. However, as per the latest reports the makers have postponed the release date. It is the sequel of the blockbuster 2018 movie Raid which featured Ajay Devgn in the lead. In 2018, the movie also starred Ileana D'Cruz, Saurabh Shukla, Gayathiri Iyer and Amit Bimrot in key roles. But this time, there are some changes in the cast of the film except for Ajay Devgn. 

Raid 2 Release Date

As tweeted by trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Ajay Devgn and Vaani Kapoor’s Raid 2 will be released in theatres on February 21, 2025. In this movie, Riteish Deshmukh will play the role of antagonist. Saurabh Shukla will be seen reprising the role in the film. The movie has been directed by Rajkumar Gupta and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar.

About Raid

The movie was based on the story of a fearless Income Tax officer who raided the mansion of the most powerful man in Lucknow. This story delves deep into the investigations which draws attention towards the male protagonist. It was released in theatres on 16th March 2018 and is currently streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar. The movie had a worldwide box office collection of Rs 154.19 crore.
