The Andhra Pradesh High Court has deferred its decision on the plea requesting interim measures for the annulment of the censor certificate issued for the movie 'Rajadhani Files'. The Telugu drama movie released today, helmed by director Bhanu, delving into the socio-political dynamics of Amaravati, capital of Andhra Pradesh. Produced by Kantamaneni Ravi Shankar, the film delves into the challenges encountered by farmers amidst the contentious development proposals for the area. However, the shows went empty on its first day of release.

Combining personal challenges, political complexities, and societal advocacy, 'Rajadhani Files' offers a gripping storyline that strikes a chord with its audience. Here's what audience has to say:

The film became a part of several controversies. YSRC general secretary Lella Appi Reddy has lodged a petition in the High Court seeking the revocation of the censor board's certificate for the film, alleging that its primary aim is to tarnish the reputation of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and the State government.

Advocate VRN Prashant, representing the petitioner, argued that specific scenes in the movie malign the CM and mislead the public by distorting facts. He contended that the film appears to be targeting the ruling party and the CM, with certain characters bearing resemblance to real-life figures like MLA Kodali Nani and others, including their names. The trailer of the film, released on February 5, purportedly portrays the Chief Minister and the government in a negative light, allegedly driven by the filmmaker's self-serving political agenda.

Rajadhani Files provides a detailed examination of the obstacles encountered by rural populations amidst swift urban development and governmental decisions. The film is poised to be a stirring addition to Telugu cinema. With its focus on pertinent social issues and captivating narrative, the movie endeavours to engage audiences and provoke thoughtful contemplation. It features a diverse ensemble cast comprising established actors and fresh talent, such as Akilan, Veena, Vinodh Kumar, Vani Viswanath, Pavan, Vishal Patni, Shanmukh, Madhu, Ajayratnam, Amrutha Chowdary, and Ankita Thakur.
