Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan have been one of the most beloved and iconic duos in Bollywood. They shared screen space in cult classics Anand and Namak Halaal. Now, their grandchildren are set to work together and star on the big screen. According to the latest buzz, Naomika Saran, the granddaughter of late Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia, is set to make her Bollywood debut in a romantic comedy opposite Agastya Nanda, the grandson of Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan. Producer Dinesh Vijan is joining the latest trend of bringing fresh pairings to the screen.

Rajesh Khanna's granddaughter Naomika Saran and Amitabh's grandson Agastya Nanda will feature in a project produced under the banner of Maddock Films, as per eport by Peepingmoon report. This rom-com will be directed by Jagdeep Sidhu, known for his Punjabi blockbuster movies such as Qismat, Qismat 2, and Shadaa. This project marks Jagdeep Sidhu's directorial debut in Bollywood. He had earlier contributed to Hindi cinema as a dialogue writer, with acclaimed films like Saand Ki Aankh and Srikanth.

Ahead of her debut, Naomika Saran has garnered notable attention for her resemblance to her grandmother, Dimple Kapadia. Naomika is the daughter of Rinke Khanna and businessman Sameer Saran.

As for Agastya Nanda, he has already made his debut with Netflix's The Archies, directed by Zoya Akhtar. The movie also starred Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Dot, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, and Yuvraj Menda in pivotal roles. After receiving praise for his performance and captivating the audience in The Archies, he will next be seen in the upcoming movie Ikkis, where he will share screen space with veteran actor Dharmendra. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the film also stars Jaideep Ahlawat in a key role. The movie will portray the life journey of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. The rest of the details are still under wraps. This film is also produced by Maddock Films.
