Rajinikanth is all set to grace the big screen again with his daughter’s comeback directorial film titled, ‘Lal Salaam.’ The makers of the film announced the official release date and first poster making Rajinikanth’s fans go crazy on social media. The film will be released on the occasion of Pongal 2024. The film is helmed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, in which the actor is slated to have an extended cameo appearance with an important role.

Lyca Productions on Sunday, took to social media and shared this news with the fans who ardently were waiting for this news. Sharing the new poster, the makers wrote, “Lal Salaam to hit screens on Pongal 2024.” The film is a Tamil sports drama and is produced by Subaskaran Allirajah of Lyca Productions.

The film stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in lead roles, with a special cameo by Rajinikanth himself. The film's musical score is given by the maestro A. R. Rahman. ‘Lal Salaam’ is touted to be one of the most anticipated films of 2024.

Rajinikanth is currently basking in the success of his recent release ‘Jailer.’ The film is helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar and crossed the Rs 500 Crore mark. ‘Jailer’ also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Vinayakan, and Shiva Rajkumar in pivotal roles.
