The Telugu language family entertainer film RamaBanam was released in theatres today. Starring Gopichand, Jagapathi Babu and Dimple Hayati in the lead roles, the film has been directed by Sriwass.

The plot of the film revolves around two siblings, who despite their difference in ideologies come together to fight for their common goal.

If you’re planning to watch Ramabanam in theatres this weekend, take a look at what social media has to say about the film:

The film marks the onscreen reunion of Gopichand and Jagapathi Babu as brothers after a gap of over 20 years. Speaking about the same in an interview, Gopichand hailed Jagapathi Babu for being a genuine person.

“Over the past 20 years, every time I’ve met Jagapathi Babu, I’ve referred to him as ‘brother,’ and our strong bond has only strengthened our on-screen chemistry. He has an open heart and speaks his mind. He doesn’t hide his thoughts or emotions and is always genuine,” Gopichand told Hans India in an interview.

Speaking about his third time association with filmmaker Sriwass for Ramabanam, the actor said, “We are proud to say that we have had a successful track record with our previous films, Lakshyam and Loukyam. With Ramabanam, we wanted to elevate the experience for the audience by uniquely combining family drama and action. Our team took ample time to carefully plan and strategize every aspect of the film to ensure that we delivered a well-rounded and entertaining experience.”

Gopichand further told Hans India, “From the script to the casting, music, and production, we left no stone unturned in creating a film that appeals to a wide range of audiences. The end result is a film that is packed with all the essential elements that audiences look for in a commercial film, while also conveying an important social message in a subtle yet effective manner. We are confident that our audience will enjoy the film and appreciate the efforts that have gone into making it.”
