Ranasthali OTT Release Date: The rural action drama, Ranasthali, made its theatrical debut on November 26 last year. The film featured a talented cast including Ammu Abhirami, Karnatakapu Dharma, Chandni Rao, Prashanth Pandu, Sammeta Gandhi, Banerjee, Madhumani, Chatrapathi Sekhar, Shiva Jami, Srinivas Vetti, Ashok Sanga, Vijay Ragam, Tejaperi, Nagendra Medida, Roopa, and Sathwik, delivering powerful performances.
The action film was helmed by director Parasuram Srinivas and produced by Anupama Sureddi under AJ Productions. Following a limited run in theatres, Ranasthali is now available on an OTT platform. Leading streaming service Aha acquired the digital rights of the film and premiered it on Friday, June 16. While the film received a mixed response during its theatrical release, its makers are eager to see if it will captivate streaming enthusiasts.
The story revolves around two characters, Basava and Ammulu, who are cousins. Ammulu tragically loses her parents at a young age and eventually marries Basava. Basava, in turn, starts working for a man named Chakravarthy, who assigns him the task of overseeing the accommodations for his four workers. Unbeknownst to Basava, these workers have hidden motives, and they end up killing both Chakravarthy and Ammulu. What twists and turns await in the rest of the tale? Shiva, who portrayed the antagonist in the film, along with the supporting cast consisting of Benarjee, Madhumani, Chandrasekhar, Prashanth Pandu, and Srinivas Vetti, garnered critical acclaim for their exceptional performances. Jasti Balaji served as the cinematographer, capturing stunning visuals, while Kesava Kiran composed the music, adding depth to the film's soundtrack. Bhuvan Chandhar took on the role of editor, ensuring a seamless flow, and Karthik Sujeet contributed as the art director, creating the film's captivating visual aesthetic.
The film features Dragon Prakash as the stunt director and has Lakshmi Jyothi Srinivas as the co-producer. With a runtime of 140 minutes, the film delivers a compelling mix of emotions and intense action. Aha, the streaming platform, has been adding diverse content to its library, including recent releases like the web shows Newsense, Addateegala, MenToo, Puli: The 19th Century, and Emi Sethura Linga. Additionally, Aha also premiered an ad-film titled Arjun Leela, directed by Trivikram and starring Allu Arjun and Sreeleela.
