Earlier this month, Ranbir made headlines for picking up his wife's footwear at Pamela Chopra's prayer meet. A video that was shared on social media by a paparazzo showed Alia Bhatt visiting Aditya Chopra's residence. Before entering the house, she removed her slippers. Ranbir, who followed her, picked up Alia's slippers and placed them aside after she took them off.

Prior to that, Ranbir impressed the internet by buying an expensive anniversary gift for Alia. Kapoor, who was busy shooting in London, upon his return to Mumbai, was seen carrying a bag, leading fans to speculate that he had purchased a Chanel bag as a gift for Alia on their anniversary.

Later that day, the couple was spotted visiting the construction site of their new home, with Alia seen carrying a pink Chanel sling bag. According to reports, the estimated price of the bag is around $12,250, equivalent to approximately Rs 10 lakhs. That is more than the amount it would take for one person to take a round trip to Paris from India.

On the work front, Ranbir has been busy filming his upcoming movie Animal. The film is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who had tweeted the movie's poster on January 1. The poster shows Ranbir holding an axe covered in blood, while he smokes a cigarette and looks at someone. His white outfit is also stained with blood.

The movie's release date, which is August 11, was also revealed along with the poster. Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Triptii Dimri are among the prominent cast members in the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial.

Ranbir last starred in Tu Jhooti Mein Makkar where he played a prominent role alongside Shraddha Kapoor for the first time. The movie received positive feedback from viewers and ended up being one of the biggest hits of the year, earning 148.13 crore at the box office.
