Ranbir Kapoor has acknowledged that 'Animal' received some criticism for its content, labeled as misogynistic and violent by some viewers and critics. However, he emphasises that the movie's success at the box office demonstrates that audience love for a film can surpass such criticisms. Despite the controversy, 'Animal' emerged as one of the highest-grossing Hindi movies of 2023.
What Ranbir Kapoor said?
Ranbir expressed gratitude towards director Sandeep Reddy Vanga during the success party of 'Animal.' Despite the controversies, the actor highlighted the immense love, success, and global earnings of over Rs 900 crores, indicating that audience appreciation ultimately triumphs in the realm of cinema. According to PTI, he said, "I want to thank all of you for being here today to celebrate 'Animal'. It is a film that a section of people had an issue with but I feel the kind of love, success and the numbers (it has received) proves that nothing goes beyond the love for a movie. Nothing goes beyond movies," the actor said at the success event of the film.
For the event, Ranbir commanded attention with his impeccable style. Dressed in sleek black formal pants, a matching shirt, and a velvet blazer, the actor radiated charm. Complementing his attire with glossy shoes and stylish tinted eyewear, Ranbir made a striking statement on the black carpet.

The success party was attended by Sandeep Reddy Vanga alongside the ensemble cast -- Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Triptii Dimri, Prem Chopra, Suresh Oberoi, Saurabh Sachdeva, and Siddhant Karnick.
The director expressed gratitude to the entire team for their collective efforts in making the film a success. "Every character was very special and striking in the film and it happened because of everybody's hard work. Thank you to the producer, lyricist, musicians, and thank you everyone," said Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
Also ending the party were-- producer Bhushan Kumar and other notable celebrities such as Saurabh Sachdeva, Upendra Limaye, Dino Morea, Director Abhishek Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vivek Oberoi, Suniel Shetty, Genelia, and Riteish Deshmukh, among many others.
