Ranbir Kapoor made his Bollywood debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya. After 17 years, he is set to reunite with the acclaimed director once again in the upcoming movie Love & War. The movie also stars his wife Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. The Animal actor recently praised Bhansali for his perfection. He also stated that working with him is tiring and also satisfying.
Ranbir Kapoor hosted a meet and greet in Mumbai with the media personnel along with his wife Alia Bhatt. During the interaction, he talked about his upcoming movie Love & War with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He was heard saying, “Love and War is something which is every actor’s dream. To work with brilliant actors like Alia and Vicky and to be directed by the master – Sanjay Leela Bhansali. I worked with him 17 years ago."
Praising the director, the actor stated, "To work with him again, I can say this with so much of clarity that I haven’t met a human being who works so hard, who understands characters, emotions, music, Indian culture, Indian value system, as much as Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Just to be on his set, it is tiring. It is long. The process can be a little daunting but eventually, as an artist, it is so satisfying. He really nurtures art. As actors, it’s truly been amazing so far."

Alia also talked about her excitement in collaborating with Bhansali after working with him in the 2022 critically acclaimed movie Gangubai Kathiawadi. She said, “Being back on set with Sanjay sir (is) like he makes you feel that 100 per cent is just the beginning, you’ve to give way more than that, and you want to because of how much he gives. Every scene is a key scene. So, no day on set is going to be like a chill day. You’re giving 100 per cent but we’re having a great time. It’s a blessing to be working under his guidance, and to be working with Vicky and Ranbir, and to see them together, and all three of us, is all fascinating."
Sharing the shooting process of Love & War, which happening during mostly at night. Alia added, "We are shooting a lot at night, so we work at night, and we are mom and dad during the day. So, it’s a very interesting combination. We shot ‘Gangubai …’ mostly in the night; it becomes like your own world; there’s no distraction, and there’s no noise."
Apart from this, Ranbir will be seen in Nitesh Tiwari's much-awaited directorial Ramayana, also starring South actress Sai Pallavi. Alia, on the other hand, is gearing up for Alpha.
