Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 Smashes Records, Beats Pushpa 2 And Baahubali 2 With Massive Earnings At The Box Office

Dhurandhar 2 Box Office Collection Day 17: It has been 17 days since its global release, and Dhurandhar The Revenge is maintaining a grip on the Indian box office that is rarely seen in modern cinema. The film's performance during its third weekend has confirmed that the momentum is far from fading, as it continues to dismantle records set by some of the biggest blockbusters in history.

On Day 17, which fell on the third Saturday, the film saw a remarkable surge in collections. It minted Rs 25.65 crore net, a significant jump from the Rs 21.55 crore earned on the third Friday. Such growth during the third week of a theatrical run is an exceptionally rare feat. With this latest figure, the overall India net collection has reached a staggering Rs 985.02 crore. 

When comparing Day 17 figures, Dhurandhar 2 has managed to outperform legendary titles. Its Hindi version alone collected Rs 24.25 crore, placing it ahead of Pushpa 2 (Rs 20 crore), Mahavatar Narsimha (Rs 18 crore), and Baahubali 2 (Rs 17.75 crore). It also stayed ahead of other heavyweights like Stree 2, Gadar 2, and Dangal. Interestingly, while the sequel is breaking records, it still trails behind its predecessor. The original Dhurandhar remains the ultimate champion of Day 17, having recorded a commanding Rs 38.50 crore.

Dhurandhar 2 Worldwide Box Office Collection

The film's success is not limited to the domestic market. On Day 17, it added Rs 10 crore from overseas markets, bringing its total international gross to Rs 385 crore. When combined with the total India gross of Rs 1,179.30 crore, the worldwide gross collection stands at a massive Rs 1,564.30 crore after just 17 days.

The Hindi version continues to be the primary engine of growth, contributing Rs 24.25 crore on Saturday. However, the Tamil version saw the highest occupancy rate at 33 per cent, despite a smaller show count. As the film enters its eighteenth day, all eyes are on the number as it prepares to enter the elite Rs 1,000 crore net club in India.
