Ranveer Singh and Kriti Sanon recently made waves as they graced a special fashion event in Varanasi, capturing attention and hearts alike as the showstoppers. The event aimed to spotlight the intricate handicrafts and handlooms of Varanasi, particularly highlighting the long-forgotten Banarasi weaves.

Ranveer Singh, Kriti Sanon Turn Showstoppers At Namo Ghat

As Ranveer Singh and Kriti Sanon strutted down the runway against the stunning backdrop of the Namo Ghat, they embodied the grandeur and elegance of the collection curated by Manish Malhotra. Clad in a majestic ensemble adorned with rich purple and gold brocade, including a kurta, dhoti, and dupatta, Singh exuded his trademark captivating persona. On the other hand, Kriti Sanon looked gorgeous in a red-coloured traditional lehenga.

Earlier today, Ranveer, Kriti and Manish Malhotra's visit to the Vishwanath Temple drew a frenzy of fans. As Ranveer strolled along the lively streets of Varanasi, throngs of fans flocked to the lanes, eager to catch a glimpse of their beloved celebrity.

The Indian Minorities Foundation hosted a two-day event in Varanasi to showcase the city's vibrant handicrafts and handlooms on a global scale. On Saturday, Manish Malhotra welcomed diplomats from different countries to engage in traditional rituals and explore the city's cultural heritage.

Opening up about the event, Malhotra said in a conversation with ANI, “20 ambassadors of beautiful nations and we are here at Kashi at the ghat which I loved and I love coming here. We are all going to put on diyas and this is celebrating India, celebrating Kashi, celebrating Modiji and celebrating the fact that we are all here together in Kashi and it feels very beautiful.”
