Dhurandhar 2 Trailer Postponed: Fans eagerly awaiting the first full look at Ranveer Singh’s upcoming spy thriller, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, will have to wait a few days longer. While rumours suggested the trailer was set to drop on March 3, 2026, the day passed without an official release. Although some fans suspected technical glitches or post-production issues, reports now suggest that the delay was caused by a traditional spiritual belief rather than a digital one.
The sequel to Aditya Dhar’s 2025 blockbuster is one of the most anticipated films of the year. It is currently scheduled for a massive box-office clash on March 19 against Yash’s gangster epic, Toxic. According to reports, the presence of a Chandra Grahan (lunar eclipse) on Tuesday was the primary reason for the last-minute change. Reports in Bollywood Hungama stated, “Reports of Dhurandhar: The Revenge’s trailer release on March 3 weren’t mere rumours. The makers genuinely planned to unveil it that day. But they were later informed that March 3 witnesses a Chandra Grahan (lunar eclipse), which is considered inauspicious for new beginnings. The inauspicious period is said to be from 9:39 am to 6:46 pm. Trailers are usually launched around noon, and this timing falls within the window. Hence, the team decided to postpone the trailer release.”
What To Expect From Dhurandhar 2?
While the official confirmation from the production house is still pending, industry buzz suggests the trailer will now be released digitally on March 5 or March 6. This promotional push follows a teaser that was recently cleared by the CBFC with an ‘A’ (Adults Only) certificate. The teaser, which runs for 1 minute and 48 seconds, suggests that the sequel will maintain the franchise’s dark and intense tone. The film features a stellar ensemble cast, including R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and Akshaye Khanna.

Meanwhile, there is also significant excitement regarding a reported cameo by Yami Gautam, who is said to play an undercover intelligence officer. As the US advance bookings already show Ranveer Singh leading the charge against Toxic.
