Actor Ranvir Shorey has extended support to AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi who launched a scathing critique of Pakistan’s selective rhetoric around Islam and the two-nation theory. In a conversation with ANI, Owaisi said, “They conveniently forget that over 230 million Muslims live in India, whose forefathers rejected the two-nation theory."
“Both Afghans and Iranians are Muslims. It is the deep state of Pakistan which only uses Islam as a facade to cover up all illegal activities and their promotion of terrorism. This is what they have been doing for the last 75 years against India,” the AIMIM chief continued,
Ranvir Shorey took to his X account and reacted with a raising hands emoji, signaling his approval.

Shorey’s support came after the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam which claimed 26 innocent lives. Post the horrifying killings, India launched Operation Sindoor- a series of airstrikes carried out by the Indian government on May 7. The airstrikes targeted nine terror launchpads in Pakistan and PoK.
On Saturday, India and Pakistan agreed upon an immediate ceasefire after New Delhi made it clear to the world: it will not seek anyone’s permission to defend its people, top government sources said. The agreement came after India’s massive retaliatory strike that targeted major positions inside Pakistan and PoJK. Indian forces are now neutralising nine high-value terror launchpads, with government sources claiming, “the operation was an absolute success.”
Pakistan Violates Ceasefire
According to the latest update, Pakistan has violated the ceasefire hours after the agreement. Several explosions were echoed across India’s border states on Saturday evening as Pakistan once again launched drones into Indian airspace. It is pertinent to note that Pakistan itself reached out to India proposing a full ceasefire across land, air, and sea.
