Rashmika Mandanna, one of the most sought-after actors in Indian cinema, has finally opened up about her relationship status. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, she confirmed being in a relationship while emphasizing her commitment to maintaining privacy. Fans quickly connected her statement to Vijay Deverakonda, her frequent co-star and long-rumoured partner.
When asked about her happy place, Rashmika expressed how much she values her personal life. She said, “Home is my happy place. It makes me feel anchored, rooted and reminds me that while success is fleeting, home is forever. I work from that space. As much as I enjoy the love, fame, and visibility, I am still just a daughter, a sister, and a partner. I deeply respect the personal life I have and will guard it with my life.”
This heartfelt admission has left fans speculating about her relationship, with many believing her mention of being a "partner" is a subtle nod to Vijay Deverakonda.

Adding fuel to the rumours, Vijay Deverakonda, in an earlier interview with Curly Tales, admitted he is not single. He said, “I am 35 years old; you think I will be single?” However, he maintained his stance on keeping his love life private, stating, “I will share details when the time feels right, but I will never disclose it under external pressure.”
The duo is often spotted together, further fueling relationship rumours. Rashmika celebrated Diwali with Vijay’s family last year and was seen watching Pushpa 2: The Rule with them. Their frequent public appearances and mutual admiration have led fans to believe there’s more to their bond than friendship.
On the work front, Rashmika will next be seen in Chhaava, a historical action drama directed by Laxman Utekar. Starring Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Akshaye Khanna as Emperor Aurangzeb, the film is set to release in cinemas on February 14.
