Vijay Deverakonda, known for his candid personality, has finally revealed that he is in a relationship. The actor, who is often linked with his co-star Rashmika Mandanna, spoke openly about love, relationships and marriage in a recent interview. While he did not name his partner, his acknowledgement has left fans buzzing with speculation.

In an interaction with Curly Tales, Vijay shared his thoughts on love, saying he does not believe in the idea of unconditional love. He explained, “I know what it feels like to be loved, and I know what it is to love. My love comes with expectations, so clearly, it isn’t unconditional. Everything else feels over-romanticised to me. I don’t even know if expecting unconditional love is okay.”

When the topic shifted to marriage, Vijay admitted that the institution doesn’t necessarily have to interfere with one’s career. However, he acknowledged the added challenges for women, saying, “Marriage is a little harder on women, depending on the profession they are in.”

During the interview, Vijay cheekily confirmed his relationship status. He joked, “I am 35 years old; you think I will be single?” He also confessed to having dated a co-star in the past, sparking further curiosity among fans. The actor clarified that he does not go on traditional dates but prefers to develop a friendship before taking things forward.

Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna have been linked for years due to their close bond and on-screen chemistry in films like Geetha Govindam (2018) and Dear Comrade (2019). Despite their frequent public appearances together, neither has publicly addressed the dating rumours.

Recently, Vijay expressed his support for Rashmika and Allu Arjun’s upcoming film Pushpa 2. Sharing the film’s trailer on social media, he called it “Wildddddd. Love. Love. Love it!” Rashmika responded with a sweet “Wild it is!” and a pink heart emoji, further fueling speculation about their relationship.
