Irish actor Ray Stevenson, who is known for playing the antagonist in 'RRR', passed away at the age of 58. The cause of his demise is still not known. 'RRR' team took to social media and expressed their grief and shock about Ray Stevenson's demise.

'RRR' team wrote, "What shocking news for all of us on the team! Rest in peace, Ray Stevenson. You will stay in our hearts forever, SIR SCOTT."

Meanwhile, 'RRR' director SS Rajamouli also expressed his shock on the demise of Stevenson. He wrote, "Shocking... Just can't believe this news. Ray brought in so much energy and vibrancy with him to the sets. It was infectious. Working with him was pure joy. My prayers are with his family. May his soul rest in peace."

Stevenson started his career in the entertainment industry in the early 90s. However, he bagged a big role in the 1998 film 'The Theory of Flight' which impressed everyone and started getting offered in big-budgeted films like 'Thor'.

He was seen in several pivotal roles at the beginning of the 2000s and got his first pivotal role in the 2004 film, King Arthur. Later, he played the role of an army officer Titus Pullo in the HBO drama series Rome, which was aired from 2005-07.

He was also seen as Frank Castle in the 2008 Marvel project 'Punisher: The War Zone'.
