Malayalam movie Rekhachithram hit the theatres on January 9, 2025 and has been garnering rave reviews from fans and followers alike. The movie stars Asif Ali and Anaswara Rajan, with Manoj K. Jayan, Siddique, Jagadish, Harisree Ashokan and Indrans in supporting roles. Upon its release, the film opened up to a blockbuster response, as evident from its Day 1 box office collection. According to Sacnilk, Rekhachithram has made a remarkable impact at the box office, achieving impressive collection figures within just one day of its release. Worldwide, the film has garnered a staggering Rs 2.2 crores, demonstrating its widespread appeal and commercial viability. In India, the net collections for Rekhachithram stand at an impressive Rs 1.9 crores, indicating a strong reception from the domestic audience. 

Furthermore, the India Gross collections for the film have also reached Rs 2.2 crores, underscoring its robust performance at the box office. Specifically, within the Malayalam film market, Rekhachithram has collected Rs 1.9 crores at the net box office on its opening day.

About the movie

Directed by Jofin T. Chacko, with a screenplay crafted by John Manthrickal and Ramu Sunil, this gripping Malayalam film was brought to life by Kavya Film Company and Ann Mega Media. The project was officially announced on August 11, 2024 and despite the announcement coming after filming had commenced, the team worked tirelessly to bring the story to fruition. 

Notably, the principal photography of Rekhachithram was concluded on July 15, 2024. The film's soundtrack and score were expertly composed by Mujeeb Majeed, adding depth and tension to the narrative. Rekhachithram has received an overwhelmingly positive response from the audience, who have praised the film's direction, as well as the standout performances of its lead actors, particularly Asif Ali and Anaswara Rajan.
