For the unversed, Darshan and Pavithra have been arrested in the murder case of Renuka Swamy, who was found dead at Sumanahalli Bridge in Bengaluru on June 8, 2024. The police have already seized Darshan and Pavithra's cell phones and were sent to 6-day police custody in Bengaluru.
Renuka Swamy reportedly worked at an Apollo Pharmacy branch in Chitradurga. According to the police, he sent vulgar messages to Pavithra. Swamy's wife refuted the claims of her late husband sending vulgar messages. She said, "My husband called me on June 8 afternoon. If my husband had sent derogatory messages on social media, he should have been given a warning. What was the need to kill him. Whether he is an actor (Darshan) or a star, I want justice."
