Retro Vs HIT 3 Box Office Collection Day 2: Suriya starrer Tamil action movie Retro and Nani’s Telugu action thriller film Hit: The Third Case released in theatres on May 1. The films received mixed reviews from the audience and the critics. Both Retro and Hit 3 have been giving tough competition to each other. There is only a Rs 5 crore difference between the two films. These movies are performing well and maintaining a good pace at the ticket windows. Excited to know which movie is leading the box office game.
Retro Box Office Collection Day 2
As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 7.50 crore on Day 2. The net collection of Retro stands at Rs 26.75 crore. The film had an overall 40.23 per cent Tamil occupancy in theatres on Friday. It had 23.91 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 42.42 per cent in the afternoon shows, 41.37 per cent in the evening shows and 53.22 per cent in the night shows.

It had 34.00 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 54.87 per cent in the afternoon shows, 54.14 per cent in the evening shows and 66.05 per cent occupancy in the night shows.

The movie is about a gangster who has decided to avoid violence and lead a peaceful life after promising the same to his wife. The movie stars Suriya Sivakumar, Pooja Hegde, Joju George, Santhosh Narayanan in key roles. It has been directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Suriya, Kaarthekeyen Santhanam, Jyothika.
About Hit: The Third Case
The plot focuses on a HIT officer from Visakhapatnam, who is sent to Jammu and Kashmir to investigate a serial killings. As he goes deeper into the case, his mental health and skills are at stake. The movie stars Nani, Srinidhi Shetty, Adivi Sesh, Surya Srinivas and Vishwak Sen in key roles. It has been directed by Sailesh Kolanu and produced by Nani and Prashanti Tipirneni.
