Hansika Motwani has been cast in the Tamil film titled 'Partner,' alongside Aadhi Pinisetty. Directed by Manoj Damodharan, the movie also stars Yogi Babu, Palak Lalwani, Robo Shankar, and Pandiarajan. During the press conference for the trailer launch of 'Partner' in Chennai a few days ago, the entire cast and crew of the film were present on stage. Robo Shankar was invited to share a few words about the film, but his speech has sparked strong criticism on social media, which has now gone viral.

During his appearance on stage, Robo Shankar shared an incident involving a scene in which he was supposed to touch Hansika's leg. However, according to reports, the actress objected to this scene and did not permit him to touch her leg or even her toe. On the other hand, she reportedly allowed Aadhi, the film's hero, to perform the action. Robo Shankar mentioned that there were certain advantages to being a hero, implying that he faced limitations as a supporting actor.

Hansika, who was present on stage, appeared visibly upset by Robo Shankar's comment. Despite his attempt to pass it off as a light-hearted remark, the internet did not find it amusing and criticised his statement.

A journalist in attendance at the event openly criticised Robo Shankar's remarks, stating that he had overstepped boundaries with his comments.

Hansika is currently juggling multiple film projects, actively involved in their filming. Additionally, she has recently wrapped up work on a Tamil web series and has been working on a Telugu web series as well. Regarding Robo Shankar's comments, the actress chose to remain silent and appeared to have moved past the incident.
