Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani Box Office Collection: Alia Bhatt-Ranveer Singh Starrer Cross Rs 60 Crore Mark; Film Holds Well On Day 5

'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' marks the return of Karan Johar after a break of seven years. Bringing back the essence of love and family back in Bollywood, the domestic box office collection over the weekend of 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' is doing great numbers and has already crossed Rs 60 crore mark.

As per the early estimates of Sacnilk.com, the film earned Rs 7.25 crore on day 5, taking the total domestic collection to be around Rs 60.17 crore, within five days of its release. The film minted Rs 11.1 crore on its opening day, Rs 16.05 crore on day two, and on the last day of the weekend Rs 18.75 crore.

'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in lead roles and also features Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in pivotal roles. 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' also has cameos of Bollywood biggies including Sara Ali Khan, Varun Dhawan, Ananya Panday, and Janhvi Kapoor in the film.

The film revolves around the love story of Rocky aka Ranveer Singh's character and Rani aka Alia Bhatt's character residing in the capital of India, Delhi. Coming from a strict Punjabi and loud Bengali family, the two embark on a journey of impressing their in-laws which is induced with several twists and has another hidden and pure love story with dose of emotions and perfect comic timings.
